Image Processing Algorithms for Sperm Analysis [D-ITET/D-INFK, ST/MT, 1..2]
SCS is developing and implementing several machine vision algorithms for sperm analysis. In particular, we measure morphological sperm parameters which allow assessing (classifying) the fertility of human beings or animals.In this project, the student will develop, imple-ment and exploit several image processing algorithms for sperm analysis including both standard and semantic-based approaches. The necessary material (microscope, camera, software, sperm samples, etc.) will be provided.
