I graduated in 1997 from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland, where I received my Diploma in Electrical Engineering. From 1997 to 2003, I was with ETA S.A. (Swatch Group) where I worked as an RF engineer for pagers and other RF applications embedded in wrist-watches (RDS FM-receiver, GPS, Bluetooth...). Since 2003, I'm back in the academic world at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Zürich (ETHZ), Switzerland, where I work as a Ph. D. Student at the Electronic Laboratory (IfE) in the field of CMOS radio frequency integrated circuits (RFIC) for ultra-wideband (UWB) wireless applications.
