Long-Van received her M.Sc. in Computer Science at Purdue University in the United States in 2011. She focused on parallel processing framework for spatio-temporal database over Hadoop MapReduce. She was also interested in machine learning and data mining. During her studies, she performed a research internship during summer 2011 at Google, Mountain View.
In November 2011, she started her PhD in the Wearable Group at the Electronics Laboratory.
Research Interests
I am working on the SmartDAYS project. My research interests are:
- Machine leaning, pattern recognition
- Wearable computing
