Ping Ma received his B.E. degree from Tianjin University in China. Then he got M.Sc degree from Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. In August 2005, he joined the project of compact all-optical switches, working together with Yuriy Fedoryshyn at Comunication Photonic group. His main research work is novel device modelling, fabrication and characterization.
