In 2006, I received my Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the ETH Zurich. I have specialized in signal processing and control. My Master thesis, entitled "Application of Model Predictive Control to a Cascade of River Power Plants", was conducted at the Automatic Control Laboratory under the supervision of Prof. M. Morari. During my studies, I worked for Phonak AG for about 2 years.
In August 2006, I started my PhD at the Electronics Laboratory.

Research interests

I am working for the European SEAT project that tries to enhance airplane passenger's comfort by incorporating unobtrusive sensors into the seat. I am particularly interested in multi-disciplinary research bringing new technologies to the field of psychology. The topics include:

Lectures

During the Herbstsemester 2007, I was the main supervisor for the Digitaltechnik course taught by Prof. Tröster.
