Welcome to the Electronics Laboratory

The Electronics Lab (IfE) comprises the two professorships of Prof. Heinz Jäckel and Prof. Gerhard Tröster.

Research projects cover the fields of:

• Wearable Computing
• Smart Textile
• Mobile and user-centered healthcare
• High Speed Electronics
• Communication Photonics

In education, IfE provides basic training in digital systems at the undergraduate level. The spectrum of Master courses includes Wearable Systems, Computer Design, Integrated Circuits for high speed Communication as well as Optoelectronics.

Semester- and Mastertheses are closely connected to running research projects.

The PhD theses at IfE comprehend theoretical reasoning and prototype implementation using diverse facilities like the FIRST Lab.
