Matthias Flückiger joins the Wearable Computing Group.

In the Electronics Lab (IfE) headed by Prof. Gerhard Tröster 9 PostDocs, 14 doctoral students and two technicial and administrative staff focus on miniaturized mobile and flexible electronics, thinfilm technology and smart textile, as well as on signal processing, sensor fusion, machine learning and sensor platforms. The group capitalizes on this expertise in designing wearable computers capable of smart assistance.

In education, IfE provides basic training in digital systems at the undergraduate level. The spectrum of Master courses includes methods, tools and technologies for Wearable Systems.

Semester- and Mastertheses are closely connected to running research projects.

The PhD theses at IfE comprehend theoretical reasoning and prototype implementation using diverse facilities like the FIRST Lab.
